Privacy Policy

Overview

Flutter APK Lens is an Android developer utility that helps you inspect apps installed on your device, detect framework indicators, and view APK and package details. This policy explains what the app accesses, how it uses that information, and when information leaves your device.

Version 1.0 of Flutter APK Lens does not require an account, display ads, sell personal data, or use installed-app information for advertising or analytics monetisation.

Information processed on your device

To provide its core scanning and inspection features, the app processes the following information locally on your device:

• Installed-app metadata, such as app name, package name, version, and technical configuration.
• APK and split-APK technical information, such as framework markers, permissions, components, ABI details, signing information, and size information when available.
• Detected dependency and package names, framework results, and scan results.
• App preferences and cached public package metadata.

This local processing is used only to show you the requested detection and inspection results. Flutter APK Lens does not intentionally upload your installed-app inventory, APK files, selected app package name, or scan results to a developer-operated server.

Installed-app visibility

The app requests broad visibility of installed apps because discovering and inspecting apps on your device is its central function. This enables you to select arbitrary installed apps for framework detection and technical analysis.

The installed-app information is processed locally for that feature. It is not sold, shared for advertising, or used for analytics monetisation.

Network requests to pub.dev

Flutter APK Lens can request public package metadata from pub.dev. When a package lookup or verification is performed, the app sends the relevant public pub.dev package name to the pub.dev API over HTTPS. The request is used to retrieve public information such as package version, description, publisher, dependencies, scores, and tags.

These requests are made directly between your device and pub.dev. pub.dev may process network information, such as your IP address, under its own policies. Please review the Google Privacy Policy and applicable pub.dev terms for information about that service.

The app does not intentionally send APK files, the full installed-app inventory, or scan results to pub.dev.

Local storage, retention, and deletion

Scan results, preferences, and public pub.dev metadata are stored locally in the app?s private storage to make the app faster and usable between scans. Public pub.dev metadata uses a seven-day cache freshness period.

• You can clear cached pub.dev metadata from the app?s settings when that option is available.
• You can remove all app-local data at any time through Android Settings > Apps > Flutter APK Lens > Storage > Clear storage, or by uninstalling the app.
• The app does not maintain a developer-operated user account or server-side profile, so there is no account data to request for deletion.

Android backup and device-transfer behavior is controlled by your device and Google account settings. Flutter APK Lens does not operate a separate cloud backup service.

Data sharing and security

Flutter APK Lens does not sell personal data or share installed-app information with advertisers. The app uses HTTPS for pub.dev API requests. No security method can guarantee absolute protection, but the app is designed to keep technical inspection data on your device wherever possible.

Children

Flutter APK Lens is a technical utility intended for developers, testers, and users interested in app analysis. It is not designed for children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app?s data practices, features, or legal requirements change. For example, if a future version adds advertising, analytics, accounts, or another service that collects or shares data, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated before that version is released. The updated effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
